Denver East beat George Washington 82-20 in a Denver Public League game Thursday at Manual high school.
The win is the 11th straight for the Angels who have yet to lose to an in-state opponent this year. Jevon Griffin led Denver East with 21 points.
The Angels improve to 20-2, and will play Denver South on Friday.
Meanwhile the East ladies won their 10th straight game with an 88-42 win over George Washington.
The Angels were led by Frannie Sally's 22 points. East is now 18-4 and a perfect 7-0 in league play. They finish the regular season on Friday against South.
