DENVER - A downtown Denver street will be closed Wednesday during rush hour while crews repair a leaking gas line.

Xcel crews discovered the leak earlier in the day in an underground pipe along Blake Street. Crews remain on site and have secured the leak.

While repairs are being made, Blake Street between 15th Street and 17th Street will be closed until 8 p.m.

All businesses in the affected area will continue to have natural gas service and can be open.
