BOULDER - University of Colorado at Boulder Police are investigating after a student was found dead in a campus residence hall around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"The federal Clery Act requires us to alert CU affiliates when we believe there is an ongoing danger to the campus," CU-Boulder police spokesperson Ryan Huff said. "We don't believe there's a threat to campus."

No arrests have been made in connection with the death.

The identity of the person has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
