AURORA - What are you supposed to do if you’re pulled over by a police officer and have no idea why? Many teenagers would probably get a little anxious.

That’s why Aurora Police teamed up with students in an effort to come up with tips for handling these situations.

The tips are in a new guide, aimed at giving teens an idea of how police officers work and what to expect when you come into contact with them.

In its 44 pages, it also covers what to do when there’s a threat at school, suicide prevention, dating advice, social media dangers and what your rights are in Colorado.

The guide was developed by both teens and officers, so it gives two different perspectives.

It is being launched on Thursday afternoon. We’ll add a link to it when it’s available.
