Bees back to work on Union Station roof

Beekeepers are back at work on the roof of Union Station. A post on the station's Facebook page said its honeybees are back and the queen has been released. There are four honeybee colonies on its roof.

DENVER - The bees on the roof of Union Station are back to being busy.

The Union Station Facebook page says the bees are back and the queen has been released.

There are four honeybee colonies on the roof.

The Union Station beehive program was started to help spread awareness about honeybees and their importance.

As for that fresh honey, restaurants and shops at Union Station use it in their menus.
