LAUTERBRUNNEN, SWITZERLAND - The body of a Boulder man who went missing after "speed flying" in Switzerland was recovered last week.
According to a Facebook page dedicated to the search, DNA evidence confirmed Fast's body was found August. 25.
Fast and six other people planned to "speed fly," which means part paraglide - part ski down Jungfrau Mountain in March. After conditions deteriorated, six people eventually made it off the mountain safely. Fast, however, did not.
Family members on the A Tribute To Harrison Fast Facebook page thanked the U.S. embassy and all the people locally who volunteered their time, expertise and finances to help with searches.
