AURORA, COLO. - Amid all of the construction, the sight of another apartment complex could elicit a frustrated sigh for current residents worried about a population boom. But the sight of one new complex is welcomed news.
That's because the apartment building is part of Brent's Place. The non-profit provides a safe, clean environment for children with delicate immune systems who are recovering from illnesses and treatments.
The organization provides the apartments for the children and their families free of charge. Brent's Place is now celebrating the opening of a new facility at 11980 E 16th Ave in Aurora. With the new complex, Brent's Place doubles to number of families it's able to help.
