DENVER - Denver police posted a sign on the front door Cold Crush at the corner of 27th Street and Larimer Street declaring the bar a public nuisance.
Officers have responded to that location several times but a deadly shooting earlier this week prompted the notice.
Tyrone Adair Jr., 29, was killed and another man was wounded outside Cold Crush early Monday. No arrests have been made.
In June of 2014, three people were shot outside the bar.
Cold Crush said on social media that operations were suspended for up to 15 days and asked the community to stand by them as they work to clear their name.
They also vowed to move forward saying, "Cold Crush loves this community, employs this community and contributes to this community. We will not give up!"
