MONTROSE, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado State Patrol has identified three men who were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Montrose over the weekend.
The Denver Post reports 21-year-old Luis Esparza-Montelongo, of Delta, ran a pickup truck off the side of the road at about 2 a.m. Saturday, causing it to roll multiple times. He and his passengers - 23-year-old Jose Ramirez-Martinez and 24-year-old Armando Rendon, both of Montrose - were pronounced dead at the scene.
Trooper Nate Reid says alcohol is believed the have played a role in the crash.
The Montrose Daily Press reports family and friends of the men gathered around a makeshift memorial near the crash site Monday night.
