Crews battle fire at Fort Lupton petroleum plant

Firefighters were able to get a blaze that erupted at the Anadarko petroleum plant extinguished within 30 minutes Sunday morning. 9NEWS at 5 p.m. 09/13/15.

FORT LUPTON – Firefighters were able to get a blaze that erupted at the Anadarko petroleum plant extinguished within 30 minutes Sunday morning.

The fire was first reported at around 9:30 a.m. It was under control by 10 a.m., an Anadarko spokesperson said.

No one was injured, and the cause remains under investigation.

Officials couldn't elaborate on the extent of the damage.

The Weld County Sheriff's Office helped with traffic control and evacuations. Ft. Lupton Fire also responded.
