DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The Denver Post, which has occupied space in prestige buildings overlooking Denver's Civic Center for nearly three decades, is "seriously considering" moving its entire newsroom and other operations to its printing plant in an industrial area of Adams County.
The Denver daily newspaper reported that possibility Friday night, quoting its CEO and publisher, Mac Tully.
“We are seriously considering such a move as part of our budget process,” Tully told the Post staff in a note. “However, we have not made a final decision on the move and are still weighing all options.”
The proposal is to move news and advertising offices to the newspaper's printing plant at 5990 Washington St., in Adams County a few blocks north of the National Western Stock Show grounds.
