Election 2016: Early Colorado votes cast top 1.5M; Republicans catching up

With the official election day still a few days off, 1,553,325 Coloradans already have voted, Secretary of State Wayne Williams said Friday.

That's 46 percent of the 3,343,879 Colorado registered voters whose ballots were mailed to them last week. And it's 55 percent of the 2.8 million votes that 9NEWS political analyst Floyd Ciruli projects will be cast in this election.
