DENVER - Firefighters were able to limit a blaze that broke out at a vacant home southeast of Interstate 25 and Colfax Avenue early Thursday morning to just "some rags in a corner."
The fire was reported just after 5:30 a.m., according to Denver Fire. It broke out near West 13th Avenue and Umatilla Street.
Per usual protocol, firefighters scoured the house for victims but did not find any. They don't believe the structure was ever in danger.
The fire was contained by around 6:30 a.m.
It’s unclear what caused the blaze to break out.
