Fire ravages historic building in Victor

VICTOR – A plume of smoke could be seen for miles Saturday afternoon as a lightning-sparked fire ravaged a historic building, our sister station KOAA reports.

Victor is near Cripple Creek in Teller County – about an hour from downtown Colorado Springs.

The fire burned the upper floors of the historic Western Miners Union Hall on 4th Street.

No injuries were reported, and several nearby buildings sustained smoke and water damage.
