FRISCO - The snow hasn’t been coming as fast as many would like, but tourist are still pouring into Colorado for the holidays.
And mountain towns are doing what they can to give them some snow to play on during that time.
At the Frisco Adventure Park, they’re still trying to open their tubing hill which is normally open by Thanksgiving.
Like all the ski areas in Colorado, Frisco has had trouble making snow but have blown enough to get a small sledding hill open for the holiday and it’s free.
It’s not much, but after the warm start to November people like Stephanie Searles, who’s family is on vacation from Colorado Springs say they’re just glad to have found some snow to play on.
“It is we did a little "staycation" cause all our family is out east and we were happy to find this little hill here for our kids and they are enjoying it,” said Searles.
Frisco is hoping to have their tubing hill open in a few weeks and they say in the past couple days have been able to make a lot of snow.
