KUSA - A ruptured fuel tank and ensuing 20-gallon fuel spill caused traffic issues on northbound Interstate 25 near Surrey Ridge Thursday afternoon.
The fuel tank ruptured after hitting debris, according to Colorado State Patrol.
“Please check your load before you go, falling debris from unsecured cargo is a hazard for other drivers,” CSP tweeted.
All lanes of the highway have since reopened, CSP said.
