AURORA - One person has died and four others were taken to the hospital after a house became "fully-involved" in a fire that broke out Wednesday morning in Aurora.
Aurora Fire Rescue first tweeted about the blaze just after 6:30 a.m. The house is located in the 12700 block of East 7th Avenue.
Five people were inside the house when the fire started. Firefighters haven't said how they were able to get out.
There's no word yet on the conditions of the people who were injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A heavy plume of smoke from the fire was seen all over the area.
As of around 9 a.m., the fire was still burning, and the structure was too unsafe for firefighters to go inside.
