KUSA - A funeral was held Monday for the bus driver who was killed in a crash at Denver International Airport last Sunday.
Kari Chopper leaves behind four children and a husband of 23 years.
Her husband spoke about Chopper's love for the students who rode on her bus, including the time they bought new shoes for a student in need.
Authorities are trying to figure out what led up to the crash that claimed her life and wounded more than a dozen Legacy High School football players and coaches.
“I’m very anxious to know what happened,” Kari’s husband, Joshua Chopper told 9Wants to Know. “I keep going over every scenario I can in my head to see what happened with my wife.”
The funeral service was held at Crossroads Church in Thornton.
