Lakewood to offer tree limb and leaf drop-off site

LAKEWOOD - After recent hail storms many of us are left hoping our trash will take the fallen tree limbs and leaves that now cover our yards.

The City of Lakewood will be offering a free option to help their community out with that dilemma.

The Lakewood Greenhouse will be open to residents on Saturday, May 20 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. to recycle their broken tree limbs and leaves.

All you need is proof of residency.

Acceptable items are tree limbs, yard clippings, leaves, and shrub prunings.

Rock, sod, dirt, concrete, brick, metal plywood, pavers, edging, and fencing will not be accepted.

All approved materials will be composted and mulched.
