Man accused of exposing self on Highline Canal trail

Investigators with the Arapahoe County sheriff's office are looking into whether two indecent exposure cases are related to an assault from a week ago.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY - Authorities are looking for a man who witnesses say indecently exposed himself on two occasions Sunday evening on the Highline Canal trail.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is trying to determine if this is related to an assault that happened on the popular trail on March 27.

Deputies say Sunday’s incident happened between 6:05 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. near the intersection with East Iliff Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white man who is between 18 to 20 years old. The sheriff’s office says he appears to be 5’7” and 5’9” and about 130 pounds.

He has brown hair and was wearing a dark blue or black sweatshirt and either sweatpants or blue jeans.

Anyone who sees this suspect is asked to call 911 immediately.
