Man in serious condition after paragliding accident

KUSA - A man was flown to a trauma center after a paragliding accident in Castle Rock on Wednesday.

Castle Rock Fire and Rescue responded to the accident at 1:25 p.m. The man, who was flying the paraglider alone, has not been identified.

He was found unconscious on the ground near Castle Rock Middle School at 2575 Meadows Blvd.

He was airlifted in serious conditions with multiple fractures.

Castle Rock Police are investigating the crash. At this time, it's suspected he got caught in a down-draft.
