A recommendation: Gonzaga guard Josh Perkins is the 'pride of Park Hill'

Denver's Park Hill neighborhood will be cheering for Gonzaga in Monday's national championship.

May we make a recommendation? This is when we want you to check out someone else's work that is worth a few minutes of your time.

Marc Spears with TheUndefeated.com wrote about Josh Perkins, the Gonzaga University guard who'll play in the NCAA championship game on Monday night.

We know there's one neighborhood in town guaranteed to be watching him: Park Hill.

Perkins was born and raised there, and he's proud of it. Instead of telling the world he's from Denver, Perkins chooses to be announced as No. 13 from Park Hill, Colorado.

He says that's place he identifies as home. "It means everything," he says.

Undefeated's article touches on other big names from that part of Denver - like Chauncey Billups - , as well as Park Hill's history, and why it's so special to Perkins.
