DENVER - A Next Question that a few of you, like Brian, Bill, and Tye, have asked is why is Mile High still covered in signs calling it Sports Authority Field?
Basically, it's because no one has paid to replace them. Nothing has come yet of the discussions that the Denver Broncos have had with about a dozen companies that are all seriously interested in the naming rights.
There's a Metropolitan Football Stadium District meeting next Wednesday. Do not expect an announcement then. Naming rights aren't scheduled be discussed publicly until the June meeting.
We expect the signs will change once there's a company willing to pay to put up a new name on Mile High.
