DENVER - Not In My Backyard.
That NIMBY attitude has been the staple of local TV news stories for decades. Change anything, and you can guarantee people will run to TV cameras to complain.
Sometimes they have a point. Sometimes they don't, and that's the point of the Yes in My Backyard effort, which is supported by Denver guy Andy Sense.
Sense wants Denver to adapt to the growing, changing population in the city. His primary focus is to recognize the need for housing for every demographic within the city of Denver, and to plan for pedestrians.
