Track the Colorado science teacher who's climbing Everest for the second time

There are two Coloradans on Mount Everest right now.

We're hoping they'll exchange high-fives or discuss who should be the starting Broncos quarterback on the way up or down.

Next told you about Jim Davidson's climb last week. We just learned that Mike Haugen is also embarking on the trek.

Haugen teaches science at Eaglecrest High School. He's been a teacher there for seven years.

Now, he's climbing Mount Everest for the second time.

Haugen and a group of friends got to Nepal on March 26 and they've carefully been making their way up to Everest since.

Students at Eaglecrest are following updates on Facebook, and you can too.

We'll keep a close eye on their adventure.
