DENVER - One woman is ensuring that the Denver Water crews working on a project near her home stay refreshed while they work.
Jeanne Thompson said she began passing out refreshments in 1989 when her late husband suggested it for crews that were building a fence in their yard.
Now, she leaves sodas on her front porch so workers can grab a drink when they get thirsty.
The crews, in turn, gave her a vest and a hard hat to keep her safe.
Thompson said she'll miss the crews when construction is completed in the middle of April.
