Oskar Blues Brewery opening another major venue, this time in Boulder

Oskar Blues Brewery announced today that it will open a taproom and live-music venue on Boulder's Pearl Street near the end of this summer.

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The longest-canning craft brewery in America is about to open its first location in the city with the longest-running craft brewery in the country.

Oskar Blues Brewery announced today that it will open a taproom and live-music venue on Boulder’s Pearl Street near the end of this summer. It will occupy the former location of World of Beer, a Florida-based chain that has closed several Colorado bars in recent years.

Boulder is home to Boulder Beer, the 38-year-old business that is the oldest still-operating craft brewery in the United States.

The announcement comes amid a building boom for the Longmont beer maker, which is the 10th-largest craft brewery in the United States. Oskar Blues opened a CHUBurger restaurant in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood earlier this year and is scheduled to open taproom/music venues later in 2017 in both Colorado Springs and downtown Denver.
