PD: Missing senior may be in danger

NORTHGLENN - Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 69-year-old man with dementia who walked out of a Northglenn home Tuesday night and didn’t return.

Perry Yamashita lives is Las Vegas, but is visiting family in Northglenn. He was last seen in the area of West 104th Avenue and Huron Street at around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Northglenn Police say Yamashita is friendly with strangers and police officers and often asks for directions. Authorities didn’t say where he might be headed.

Yamashita is described as an Asian American man who is 5’9” and 160 pounds with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and a white sweater, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call North glenn Police at 303-450-8893.
