GOLDEN - Making his third Colorado campaign stop of the month, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump urged supporters in battleground Jefferson County on Saturday “to get their ballots in.”

While calling for people to vote, Trump also questioned the integrity of Colorado’s voting system.

“I don’t love the concept of ballots,” he told the crowd. “I don’t love it. Get those ballots in and follow your ballot.”

Trump spoke to thousands of supporters who gathered inside the Rodeo and Events Center at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Some in the crowd had attended Trump’s previous rallies in Colorado.

"They're just so fun,” said Trump supporter Erin Behrens, describing the atmosphere. “There's so much energy. People are so, so excited."

Behrens, a Colorado native, lives in Jefferson County and has been watching the early voting results closely in the key swing county.

"I think Jefferson County is going to be very close because there's a lot of independent voters here,” she said.

As of Friday, 88,361 ballots had been returned in Jefferson County. Registered democrats returned 38 percent of the ballots while registered republicans returned 33 percent. Unaffiliated voters accounted for 27 percent of the returned ballots.

"Every other Republican I know is 100 percent going to vote,” Behrens said. “They haven't turned in their ballot yet because there's just not this feeling that the election is over yet."

Donald Trump encouraged those who hadn’t yet cast their ballots to do so, and said he was confident he’d win the state of Colorado in ten days.

He also said the FBI's review of Clinton's email practices raises "everybody's deepest hope that justice, at last, can be properly delivered.

The crowd cheered Clinton's email woes, which Trump is calling the biggest scandal since Watergate.

The FBI is looking into whether there was classified information on a device belonging to Anthony Weiner, the disgraced ex-congressman who is separated from longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Comey, in his letter to Congress on Friday, said the FBI had recently come upon new emails while pursuing an unrelated case and was reviewing whether they were classified.

Following his event in Golden Trump was headed to Phoenix and Las Vegas before returning to Colorado for a rally in Greeley on Sunday.
