RV catches fire at Broomfield storage facility

KUSA - North Metro Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish a fire that broke out Thursday afternoon inside an RV at a Broomfield storage facility.

Sky9 video showed the back of the RV all-but-engulfed in flames before firefighters were able to get the blaze under control.

What caused the fire, which happened at Generic Storage at 7630 W. 116th Ave. in Broomfield, was not immediately released. The fire investigator is headed to the scene to learn more.

North Metro Fire says the person driving the RV was able to get out before the fire spread.

No other structures or vehicles were damaged by the blaze, North Metro Fire says.
