Shots fired during I-25 road rage incident, troopers search for suspect in Jetta

LOVELAND - Although no one was hurt in a reported road rage incident Sunday night in Northern Colorado, state troopers are investigating the case and hoping to track down a suspect.

Just before 8:00 p.m., a call came in to Colorado State Patrol, reporting shots fired into the air during a road rage incident on Interstate 25 near mile marker 252 (near Loveland).

No one was hurt, but the caller described the suspect as wearing a mask and driving a black Volkswagen Jetta, CSP said. Police said there was another man in the car.

Eventually, troopers were called off the search after they were unable to find the car.

Anyone with information should call Colorado State Patrol.
