The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 270 between Highway 285 and Quebec Street.
Two adults and four children were taken to area hospital with minor to serious injuries. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
Interstate 270 was closed to one lane following the accident, but it is now open.
Drugs or alcohol are not considered to be factors.
