Supreme Court justice to speak in Boulder

BOULDER - Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is set to visit the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder for a "fireside chat" Thursday. 

Later, Justice Elena Kagan will participate in a moderated conversation on court history at the 10th U.S. Circuit Court's conference in Colorado Springs.

Sotomayor was in Colorado Springs at a judicial conference on Wednesday. She also addressed students and faculty at Metro State University in Denver. 

Sotomayor is the first Hispanic and third woman to serve on the Supreme Court. 

President Barack Obama nominated the Bronx native to the post in 2009.
