Two Fort Carson soldiers killed in Afghanistan

KUSA - Two Fort Carson soldier were killed in Afghanistan according to Department of Defense officials.

Staff Sgt. Benjamin G. Prange, 30, of Hickman, Nebraska, and Pfc. Keith M. Williams, 19, of Visalia, California died on Thursday.

They were in Mirugol Kalay, Kandahar Province when the enemy attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device.

Both soldiers were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
