DENVER - Colorado Shares is proud to partner with the Denver Santa Claus Shop, to help collect new and gently used toys for more than 14,000 local children this holiday season.
This volunteer-driven, non-denominational nonprofit works to provide toys to children during the holiday season.
The Denver Santa Claus Shop is unique in that each December, it sets up a “store” to allow parents referred by local social service agencies to “shop” for toys on a point system. Parents are given 100 points, then can shop for toys ranging from 5 to 100 points, allowing the selection of multiple toys per household, bringing joy to as many children as possible each year.
