9NEWS and NBC continue to dominate morning news in Colorado. Between 6:00am and 7:00am, 9NEWS delivers more viewers (Adults 25-54) than KCNC and KMGH combined, with a 77% lead over the nearest newscast. Additionally, between 4:30am and 7:00am 9NEWS delivers over 73% more viewers (Adults 25-54) than its closest competitor in the same time period.
NBC's Today Show continues the trend at 7:00am, delivering nearly 23% more viewers (Adults 25-54) than Good Morning America on ABC. Weekend mornings are equally bright for 9NEWS, winning both the Saturday and Sunday morning newscasts from 6:00am to 7:00am and 7:00am to 9:00am.
As the day progresses, the story remains the same, with 9NEWS dominating early evening newscasts: easily winning at 4:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:00pm and more than doubling the viewership (Adults 25-54) of its nearest competitor. NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams also dominates at 5:30pm delivering more Adults 25-54 than CBS and ABC combined.
9NEWS at 9:00pm continues to show impressive growth, and is now within three-tenths of a rating point of overtaking KDVR.
9NEWS at 10pm continues to win the late news race, out-delivering KMGH and KCNC, Monday through Friday, by 105% and 44% respectively (Adults 25-54).
The station's performance continues in the digital realm, garnering nearly 42 million page views in the past 30 days between 9NEWS.COM, the 9NEWS mobile site and 9NEWS mobile apps (SOURCE: Omniture Site Catalyst; Mobile Local News 4/24/14 through 5/21/14).
9NEWS dominates in social media, adding to the impressive reach of the Networks of 9NEWS. KUSA owns the #1 television news Facebook page in Colorado with over 270,000 fans and a reach of over 159 million on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ combined (SOURCE: Spredfast 4/24/14 through 5/21/14).

The 9NEWS Shred-A-Thon, held on Saturday, May 17th drew thousands of viewers, helping to fight identity theft by destroying old documents and bills. The Shred-A-Thon resulted in over 350 tons of paper being shredded and nearly $84,000 being raised for CrimeStoppers.
