How to get in shape for the Race for the Cure

Here are some tips for getting in shape and staying safe during the Race for the Cure.

KUSA - In a couple of months, people will put on their pink and lace up for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Before you take off, there are some things you may need to know, such as how to get in shape for the event and stay safe while walking or running.

Abbe Holle from E3 Fitness joined us to give us some advice. You can see what see says in the video above! She also has a sweaty pink class that benefits breast cancer.

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Sunday, Sept. 24 at the Auraria Campus. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. and the 5K starts at 8 a.m.
