DENVER - A bill to legalize civil unions in Colorado will get its first hearing in the House Thursday.
The bill passed in the state Senate earlier this month.
It's expected to also pass easily in the House, since it's now under the control of Democrats.
Governor John Hickenlooper has said he will sign it into law.
