DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Vice President Joe Biden will be in Denver Tuesday to take part in a roundtable discussion on manufacturing at the Community College of Denver's New Manufacturing Center in north Denver.
Biden also is slated to deliver remarks about the Obama administration's economic agenda, a White House advisory says.
Biden reportedly plans to focus on ways that community colleges can work with employers to ensure a better trained workforce.
The Denver visit is part of a two-state swing through the West that also will take the vice president to Los Angeles and San Francisco later this week.
Biden's visit follows Colorado stops last week by Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell (who talked about drug abuse in Denver) and by Interior Secretary Sally Jewell (who discussed land conservation and the threatened shutdown of the Colowyo Coal Mine near Craig).
