BOULDER - Both Donald Trump Jr. and Bernie Sanders will appear in Boulder to campaign for their causes Monday evening.
Trump Jr. is expected to appear at the Sink at 4:30 p.m. He’ll campaign in Centennial in the morning, the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Near 2,000 people attended a Sanders rally at the Auraria Campus on Sunday night. The former Democratic presidential hopeful was campaigning for his one-time rival Hillary Clinton.
He’s set to promote Amendment 69 at the University of Colorado on Monday. The amendment would repeal the current health insurance system and make coverage universal. The plan would cost an estimated $25 billion a year, but proponents point out that the sum is less than what Coloradans pay now to private insurers.
The rally is scheduled for 5 p.m. at CU's Farrand Field. Organizers say they expect about 2,000 people to attend.
