FORT COLLINS COLORADOAN - Do not — repeat, do not — mail your ballot back. At least, not if you want to make sure it's received by the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder's office in time to be counted.
Election Day isn't until Nov. 8, but Larimer County Clerk Angela Myers urges those whose ballots aren't yet in the mail to drop them off in person at one of the 24-hour drop boxes or voter service centers around the county. That mitigates any concerns of the ballot getting lost in the process or otherwise delayed until after Election Day.
Ballots must be received by the clerk's office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, regardless of postmark. A full list of drop-off locations and more information can be found at www.larimer.org/elections.
