MIAMI - JP Morgan Chase is foreclosing on OJ Simpson's South Florida home, and PETA wants to scoop it up.

The animal rights group sent a letter to the bank asking it to either donate or sell the house to the organization.

PETA says it wants to turn the home into one of its "Meat is Murder" museums, where visitors can learn about how meat is made and about alternatives to eating meat.

PETA says it chose this house because Simpson used to actively endorse the consumption of meat.

He's now behind bars serving time for an armed robbery and kidnapping conviction.

No comment yet from JP Morgan Chase on PETA's request.
