Ten-year-old Roman lives in Utah and is visiting with relatives in Denver for the summer. He saw an opportunity to make a little money so he set up his Goodies Stand for yard sale browsers in search of a snack.

Besides lemon and mint sun-tea, Roman was selling his home-made vegan banana bran muffins. He says he acquired his tea-making and vegan muffin-baking skills by looking everything up on-line.

His eco-friendly business ethic extends to the recycle and compost bins at the front of his stand. His Saturday profit? About $6.

Just like his sun tea and his muffins, his stand was home-made too, including the cardboard sign that pretty much said it all: Good for You Goodies (from a good kid).
