Taco's owner says it's mating season, and he was in search of a lady friend.
The bird scoured Florida traffic, checking out cars, even mistaking a motorcyclist as a possible mate.
Police tried to corral the bird but Taco did not want to cooperate.
Eventually, the major traffic hazard was returned to his backyard pen.
