Anybody can buy a $3 ticket and guess the date and time when the barrel will fall through the ice. First place prize for the most accurate guess is $1,000, second place $500, third place $250, and fourth place $125.
Proceeds from ticket sales go to support Evergreen Park & Recreation District's Special Populations Program, Evergreen Christian Outreach, the and charitable causes of the Mountain Foothills Rotary Foundation.
Mountain Foothills Rotary member Cindy Duffy says past correct guesses have ranged from March 5th, 2009 at 2:13:31 p.m. to April 12th, 2010 at 2:35:43 p.m.
