"Bullet Catcher" got loose from the race track after tossing his jockey.

And true to his name he was off like a speeding bullet, right down the road, where he kept pace with traffic that was moving at 30 miles an hour.

After running more than a mile and a half he got tired and slowed down, just enough for his jockey to get out and corral him.

The horse had a few minor cuts on his feet but is otherwise OK.
