Two confirmed tornadoes touched down in many rural areas of Kiowa County near the towns of Sheridan Lake and Towner. No damage or injuries were reported.
These storms also produced some damaging wind and large hail. One to 2 inch diameter hail was reported in the towns of Vilas and Sheridan Lake.
9NEWS Meteorologist Kathy Sabine says the storms moved from the south toward the north at 25-30 mph along the Colorado-Kansas border.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH was posted for southeastern Colorado through 9 p.m., but expired as scheduled.
No severe weather was expected to impact the Front Range on Tuesday.
