The man is being called the Palpatine Perp. Palpatine was the name of the Emperor in the Star Wars films. They believe he looks similar to the character in his latest robbery where he wore a hoodie.

Investigators say he robbed the Chase Bank at 16th and California Streets on Monday and a Bank of the West near 18th and Welton Streets on Aug. 30.
