Vince Bousselaire, 55, is from Golden. Bousselaire's wife Connie tells 9NEWS her husband was an 11-year cancer survivor who loved running marathons, mountain and trail biking, skiing and kayaking. He also climbed all 54 Fourteeners in Colorado.

Valais state police spokesman Jean-Marie Bornet says Bousselaire and a climbing partner from Boulder were found late Friday at an altitude of about 13,100 feet on the eastern flank of the Matterhorn.

Bornet says a family member reported the two missing Friday morning.

In addition to his wife, Vince Bousselaire leaves behind two daughters, two grandchildren, his mother and eight siblings. He was a pastor at Faith Bible Chapel for 15 years.

"He will be dearly missed by many but we take comfort in the fact that he loved the Lord, lived life to the fullest with no regrets, and died doing something he loved," said Connie Bousselaire.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Faith Bible Chapel, 6210 Ward Rd. in Arvada. Memories can be sent to LegacyOfVince@gmail.com. A memorial fund has been set up at the church.

The name of Bousselaire's climbing partner was not immediately released.
