Dragged United Airlines passenger: CEO Munoz apologizes for ‘horrific event'

DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Two days after a uncooperative passenger was grabbed and dragged by a security officer from a United Airlines plane, the airline’s CEO issued a full-throated apology for what he called the “horrific event.”

“I deeply apologize to the customer forcibly removed and to all the customers aboard,” Chief Executive Oscar Munoz said. “No one should ever be mistreated this way.”
